I have written a chapter for a new textbook named "Distributed, Embedded and Real-time Java Systems", which has just been published by Springer.
The chapter, co-authored with Neil Audsley, is based on my experiences linking Java and FPGA hardware for the JEOPARD FP7 project (now completed).
